Hyperbolic Orbits and Rutherford Scattering
Derived the classical formula from first principles, then extended it to the New Horizons Jupiter flyby.
Independent research · 2025hello, i'm
One lifetime seems far too short to be only one thing.
I’m an intended Mathematics and Computer Science major at Carnegie Mellon University. I’ve built climate-tech ventures, conducted applied mathematics research, worked on community sanitation, and learned that the most interesting answers usually begin with better questions.
At CMU, I’m exploring the mathematical and computational ideas behind complex systems while staying curious about everything from orbital mechanics to how households solve everyday problems.

“The clearest views follow the hardest climbs.”
Over fourteen days, I trekked 130 kilometres to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar. I expected cold, breathlessness, and exhaustion. I didn’t expect the quiet moments—the memorials at Thukla Pass, the stillness of Tengboche Monastery, or sunrise touching Everest from Kala Patthar—to change how I understood courage.
I did not summit Everest. I did summit fear, doubt, and a few limits I had mistaken for facts.
